Well Rick said that it was the best diving he'd done in Australia so despite iffy weather and lollopy seas the trip was a success. Loads of grey nurse sharks wobbeys turtles rays and even the odd octopus came out to play. And then there was the cave! A few comedy moments - Rick jumping in without his fins and me getting lost on a pinnacle!
8 divers. Humm what to say.. first not a drift even mid-tide there was not a scrap of current. Viz was a bit poor. Entry was also fun (big clue.. if people are surfing near the entry point perhaps nature is trying to tell you something (Incident pit anyone?). The bbq afters was relocated to Camperdown. In spite of the poor diving an excellent day
10m viz wobegong at the stern cuttlefish in the engine room no deco fish and chips and a pint at the pub afterwards with friends - what more could you ask for?
Dived the Bellobera great wreck sunny weather low swell 20m vis but must remember next time not to do an early morning dive when the clocks go forward!
