With daylight savings over and an early 6pm sunset it was the perfect opportunity to do a cheeky Thursday night dive at Balmoral.
Three SSAC members and one extra diver, who was sporting a very serious bit of camera equipment, enjoyed a lovely 45min dive under the pier at Balmoral Baths in 25-degree water. Visibility was fair at a few meters with the group spotting a blue ringed octopus and a large Common Sydney Octopus that was very annoyed to be blinded with our bright dive torches!
Post dive dinner was a few delicious Greek gyros style kebabs on the beachfront to round out the evening.
Thanks to Geoff for organising, it was great to check out a new dive spot!
