Former club member Gary M was back in Sydney for a few days so what better way to catch up than have a dive a Bare Island. It was a beautiful day, the sea a barmy (by UK standards) 23’C and the visibility was in the 3-5m range. The local octopi were out in force, along with the usual wobbies and a myriad of soft sponges & nudibranchs that make Bare Island such an enjoyable spot. Mark and Simon went for the circumnavigation, while Ben and Gary had a more relaxed out-and-back on the west side of the Island.
