Gordons Bay August 2024

Waves Shape

A brisk winter morning saw an impromptu dive to Gordons Bay by Mark and Paul.  The sea was calm if not a little cold.  The temperature made for stunning viz and easy navigation following the almost intact chain around the bay.  This is a quality dive for Sydney and when the conditions are like this it is perfect.

The entry can be a little awkward with swell. But today not too bad.  The reward was a fantastic 45 minute dive with great viz.  The life was varied with Port Jackson’s, rays, different fish, and some sort of little brown shark type thingy I’ve never seen before.  Wonderful.
