As it was a perfect summer’s day and a low swell Steve W & Ben went for a relaxed loop around Gordon’s Bay. It was an 8am meetup, just early enough to snaffle the last of the parking spots. After kitting up, follow the path down to the sea and then a short surface swim to the white buoy that marks the start of the chain. After that follow it around the loop, there are marker tags numbered 1 to 20-ish so you can gauge your progress as it bobs up and down between ~8-14m a couple of times so depth is no guide to how far round you have got. There was no shortage of rays, including a good-sized eagle ray just at the end, but not a lot of other fish.
