Avoiding the very non-diving friendly weather that was lashing Sydney SSAC headed indoors to Olympic Park Aquatic Centre to enjoy some excellent visibility and very calm surface conditions…
As the go to experts in manikin wrangling, SSAC was again the first asked to help out at the National Pool Life Saving Championships. This year saw seasoned RLSA volunteers Steve W and Ben joined by Tim, unfortunately our 4th SSAC diver pulled a back muscle moving a chair and was couch bound recovering.
After a very tiring but successful morning of manikin setting and retrieving for 40 event heats the volunteers tucked into lunch and headed home for some much-needed rest.
