It was that time again for SSAC to volunteer and help out at the Pool Life Saving Championships.
This time round Ozz, Sam, Paul, and Steve W gave up some of their weekend to help out at the event
Although a bit chilly in the pool for a few hours, it was great fun to wrestle with manakins again and watch the event unfold.
For those who are unfamiliar with the event you can read all about it HERE, interestingly the first of the Pool championships was held in 1987 in Alice Springs and since then has grown to see about 300 people compete in the event ranging from U14 all the way up to Masters events.
A big thanks to the volunteers! Hope to see more members have a go in the future…
