When the alarm went off at 5am I did think that the old days when we rented a house in Terrigal for the weekend it would have been a bit more civilised, but the spectacular sunrise on the 90 min drive up did make up for it.
Everyone made it on time for the 7am meet up at The Haven car park and the gear was loaded up on Bob’s boat. Once his palm was crossed with $80 (which includes the permit) we were on our way. By just after 8am we were making our way down the line to the Adelaide.. There was no swell which made for a great dive, and before you knew it the 75 min run time was almost up. The morning was capped off with an excellent brunch at the Haven Beach Cafe.
