Kurnell was awash with divers making the most of a hot summer’s day and promising conditions. Our club had a strong representation with seven divers jumping in at The Leap, drifting with the incoming tide at depths of up to 21-metre dive and emerging 45-55-minutes later at The Steps. The water was a trifle cold for February at 17C at depth, but above 20’C in the shallows and the viz was OK at 5-8 metres. Alas, no Weedy Sea Dragons spotted this time but a great dive, nonetheless.
As usual, the post-dive coffee, munchies and chat was held at Milkhouse. Another great SSAC shore dive!
