On a chilly but sunny Sunday morning, Gary, Jonathan, Sam and the two Steves gathered at 7.30am for another great drift dive at The Leap. The water now appears to be clearing up after all the rain with the viz an acceptable 5m, although temperatures are on the way down reaching 17C at the coldest. The dive lasted 53 minutes with a maximum depth of 21m, with the usual attractions – vibrant sponge gardens, spectacular underwater terrain, and the obligatory weedy sea dragon.

Post-dive, we were joined by Fe, who provided a much-appreciated valet service, saving some of us from the dreaded uphill trek. The morning wrapped up with coffee, munchies and chat at Milkhouse, the perfect end to a great morning.
Another great SSAC shore dive!
