Deco diving, shark trifecta, and a whale of a time…
Looking for something different Hartley and Steve W made the trip to Ulladulla for a day of tech diving. Cracking weather and conditions set us up for some awesome diving… Here’s the highlights.
- Hayden’s breakfast pies
- The dive site was a spot called the pinnacles, a large, pointed rock formation rising from the sand at 40 meters to 18 meters below the surface. The site just a 5min run from Kioloa boat ramp.
- Wobbegongs, grey nurse sharks, and more Port Jacksons than we could count.
- Whilst smashing 25mins of deco at 6 meters (thanks air diving) two humpback whales came cruising past almost close enough to touch!
- And finally, the most surprising news from the day, we managed to navigate both sites with expert precision and found the line.
