To add a sparkle to the first-Wednesday-of-the-month meeting at the Nelson, a few of us detoured via Dark Spectrum. Housed in the former railway & tram tunnels, which are now mainly an underground car park hidden beneath Wynyard, the space has been transformed into an impressive sound, light and trip down memory lane (aka 90’s dance music) experience.
Once we had stopped at the Nelson for the usual pub grub and beers, those hungry for more took the long way round to Circular Quay. The display was as impressive as usual, and the crowds were remarkably thin…partly due to it not being a night when the drone show was on.
